• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with any diving activities you undertake, whether or not those activities are based on information obtained from this website.
• No information on this website reduces or eliminates the inherent risks of diving.
• You are solely responsible for assessing your own fitness, training level, and equipment suitability before undertaking any dive.

2. Accuracy of Information

Caribbean Dive Guide makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information. However, we explicitly disclaim any warranty that information on this website is:

• Current — dive site conditions change constantly due to weather, currents, coral bleaching, storm damage, and other factors. Conditions described on this website may not reflect actual conditions at the time of your dive.
• Complete — our profiles may not describe all hazards present at a site. New hazards may have developed since our last survey.
• Accurate — despite our best efforts, depth measurements, current descriptions, visibility estimates, and difficulty ratings may contain errors.
• Applicable to your situation — a site rated "beginner" may be dangerous for a diver with limited experience in specific conditions. Difficulty ratings are general guides only.

3. Waiver of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by using this website you waive any and all claims against Caribbean Dive Guide, its founders, editors, contributors, and agents arising from:

4. Operator Listings — No Endorsement

The inclusion of any dive operator in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of that operator's safety standards, competence, insurance coverage, or suitability for any particular diver or dive. We strongly recommend that you:

• Independently verify an operator's current certifications and insurance before booking
• Read recent independent reviews from multiple sources
• Inspect equipment before use and decline to dive if you have safety concerns
• Ensure the operator holds valid liability insurance appropriate for the activities offered

Caribbean Dive Guide accepts no liability for the actions, omissions, negligence, or insolvency of any operator listed in our directory.

5. Your Responsibilities

Before undertaking any dive based on information from this website, you are responsible for:

• Holding a valid diving certification appropriate for the planned dive
• Ensuring your certification level is appropriate for the site's depth and conditions
• Conducting a thorough pre-dive safety check of all equipment
• Obtaining a current dive briefing from a local dive operator or divemaster
• Checking current weather, sea state, and visibility conditions on the day of the dive
• Diving within your personal experience and training limits
• Carrying appropriate safety equipment including a surface marker buoy (SMB)
• Ensuring you are medically fit to dive
• Complying with all local regulations, marine park rules, and mooring requirements

6. Medical Fitness

Diving is a physically demanding activity. Certain medical conditions may make diving dangerous or inadvisable. We strongly recommend that all divers obtain medical clearance from a physician familiar with dive medicine before diving, particularly if you have any cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or ear/sinus conditions. Always locate the nearest recompression chamber before diving in any new destination. Caribbean Dive Guide does not maintain a current list of recompression facilities — consult your local dive operator.

8. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
