Turks & Caicos
Overview
The Turks and Caicos Islands sit atop the Turks Island Passage — a 2,200-metre-deep channel that separates the Turks Bank from the Caicos Bank. This geography creates the dramatic wall diving for which the islands are famous, with vertical drop-offs beginning in just 6–10 metres of water.
Providenciales (Provo) is the main hub, offering easy access to the Northwest Point Marine National Park and the Grace Bay wall system. Grand Turk, the capital island, is smaller and quieter, with a legendary wall that begins just 180 metres from the beach.
Salt Cay, a tiny island with a handful of dive operators, offers some of the most pristine and uncrowded diving in the Caribbean. Humpback whales pass through the Turks Island Passage from January to April, making this one of the few places in the world to dive with these giants.

Grand Turk Wall
One of the Caribbean's most accessible walls — it begins just 180 metres from the beach and drops vertically into the abyss. Exceptional coral health and regular shark sightings.
Northwest Point
Provo's premier wall dive system. The wall is covered in enormous sea fans and black coral, with strong currents that bring pelagic action including sharks and eagle rays.
Salt Cay Wall
Pristine, uncrowded wall diving off one of the Caribbean's most unspoiled islands. January–April brings humpback whale encounters directly on the wall.
The Crack
A dramatic crevice system on the Provo wall with swim-throughs, overhangs, and excellent fish life. One of the most photogenic sites in the islands.
Amphitheatre
A bowl-shaped formation on the Grand Turk wall that concentrates fish life and creates a natural amphitheatre effect. Excellent for wide-angle photography.
McDonald's
A shallow, fish-rich reef on the Grand Turk wall system. Named for the golden arch-shaped coral formations. Excellent for beginners and snorkelers.
